You could literally pre-game and do this project (...just keep it light because we will be using sharp tools!)
Seriously.
Crazy quilting is for the recovering perfectionists, the people who don't want to measure 47 times, and anyone who would rather just start sewing and see where the machine takes them.
There are scraps. There are weird shapes. Things don't have to match. Your seams don't have to line up. You can change your mind halfway through. In fact, we're pretty sure that's part of the process.
This is quilting with significantly fewer rules.
And THAT is very Sewcial.
Because quilting doesn't have to be so serious. Sewing doesn't have to be so serious. You are allowed to make something just because it's fun to make it.
We'll show you how crazy quilting works, give you what you need to get started, including a super easy to use sewing machine (easy is the theme here), and then we're going to try really hard not to overthink it.
Pick a fabric.
Sew it down.
Add another one.
Get a little weird.
Keep going.
Use and learn new tools.
That's it. That's the plan.
Beginners. Non-quilters. Quilters who need to loosen up a little. People who have been personally victimized by perfectionism.
