Learn your sewing machine or use one of ours!

Sewcial x Sac City Brews

Well, this was bound to happen.

We're taking Sewcial's MOST popular beginner sewing class next door and turning it into a Sip & Sew night with our neighbors at Sac City Brews.

Same ridiculously useful Machine Basics class.

Now you're allowed to bring a drink.

Never touched a sewing machine? Have one at home that's been staring at you accusingly for the last four years?

Perfect. You're exactly who this class is for.

We'll teach you how to thread the machine, wind and load a bobbin, understand the basic settings, change stitches and troubleshoot those inevitable WHAT DID I DO?! moments.

By the end of class, you'll actually understand what the machine is doing—and what to check when it suddenly decides not to do it.

AND THE SIP PART?

We're holding this special edition of Machine Basics in our shared event space with Sac City Brews, so you're welcome to purchase a beverage directly from them before class and bring it with you to class.

Our recommendation? Arrive a little early, grab your drink, then come get settled at your machine.

Beer, wine, something non-alcoholic—you do you.

Food and beverages are completely optional and purchased separately directly from Sac City Brews. Your Sewcial registration covers your class and supplies.

WHO IT'S FOR

Absolute beginners. Really.

No sewing experience required. No machine required. You don't even need to know what a bobbin is.

Come alone or grab your people and make a night of it.

Grab a drink. Learn the machine. Leave considerably less intimidated by the thing.
