Program Overview:
Step into the spotlight with our all-new blended Broadway and Cosplay Studio! This one-of-a-kind creative experience invites youth age kids to dream up their very own characters, craft dazzling costumes, and bring original stories to life. Perfect for aspiring performers, designers, and anyone who loves to think outside the box, this program focuses on originality, teamwork, and bold creativity.
What Makes This Program Unique?
Original Character Creation: No need to mimic an existing character! Participants invent their own, complete with backstory, personality, and style.
Storyline Development: Kids write their character’s role in a larger tale, imagining them in theatrical scenarios like Broadway musicals or epic cosplay adventures.
Design & Craft: Using their imagination, participants create design portfolios with sketches, mood boards, and costume plans, culminating in wearable pieces.
Performance Ready: Through interactive role-play and stage activities, kids learn how to embody their character, from voice to movement.
Program Highlights:
Day 1: Imagine the Character
Brainstorm character concepts (hero, villain, or wildcard?).
Use creative prompts like "What’s their biggest secret?" or "What’s their theme song?"
Begin sketching costume ideas and creating a mood board.
Day 2: Build the World
Design the world where their character lives: Is it a futuristic metropolis or a magical woodland?
Work in teams to combine characters into a shared story or universe.
Start creating the framework for costumes with fabrics and materials.
Day 3: Costume Craft & Prop Magic

Finalize costume pieces and rehearse mini-scenes with peers.
Day 5: Showcase Performance & Character Debut

Celebrate with a photo shoot and “Meet the Characters” Q&A session for parents and friends.
Why Kids Will Love It:

New! Show stopping pieces are encouraged to be displayed in the Sewcial Studio "gallery" where the public can enjoy viewing their creations for a period of time before going back to their designer.
Bonus! The program also includes a one-time discounted membership in our weekly exclusive Little's Sew Club or Kid's Sewing with Patterns Club where our designers even more opportunity to enhance their show-stopping portfolios and final show piece.
