• Individualized Projects Using Commercial Patterns: Students will work on customized projects based on commercial patterns, learning essential techniques like fabric cutting, seam finishing, fitting adjustments, and more. Each student will have the opportunity to work at their own pace while learning and honing their skills.

• Build Friendships and Camaraderie: Working alongside peers who share similar interests fosters a sense of community and friendship. As students collaborate and share ideas, they will not only learn new techniques but also form lasting bonds with others who share their passion for sewing.

• Learn Through Observation and Implementation: The learning process is enhanced when students can see and hear about the different techniques their peers are using. By observing others work on their projects, students gain insight into new methods and approaches they can incorporate into their own work.

As part of the Sewing with Patterns Club, students will belong to the Sewing Explorers Program©. This (mandatory) interactive workbook is a tool to help students track their progress, set goals, and earn badges as they master new skills.

• Earn Badges: Students will have the opportunity to earn badges as they complete different stages of their projects and learn key sewing techniques. Badges offer tangible rewards for hard work and skill development, encouraging students to push their limits.

• Digital and Printed Versions: The Sewing Explorers book is available through Sewcial’s online portal, providing immediate access to badge opportunities. A printed version will be delivered by late winter/early spring, making it easy for students to track their progress in physical form.

• Exclusive Badge Earning Events: To make the most of the badge opportunities, students can participate in badge earning events where they work on specific sewing skills in a focused environment. These exclusive workshops allow students to complete multiple badges in one day, making them an exciting way to advance their learning.

To get the most out of Sew Club, we encourage consistent attendance so your child can progress in their skills and badge earning. While weekly attendance is ideal, we ask for at least two classes per month to ensure continuity and achievement. Packages are valid for 90 days from purchase and can be scheduled flexibly.
