Winter Camp '25 - Upcycled Sweatshirt

The Tiktoks will tell you.... upcycled is where it's at. Our kids are eco-conscious little creatives, who are ready to piece their wearables into forward fashion statement pieces.

We are covertly teaching them how to do so many sewing skills that some of the best sewists in the world can appreciate: quilting, reconstruction, construction, and fabric selection. This is a super creative, deep dive into the fabric remnants bin, where kids will tear through loads of options, then methodically or artistically piece together their sleeves and do patchwork wherever time allows and their imagination takes them.

Piecing isn't just as it....seams.... There are some really cool techniques in throwing these odd squares and random shapes together. Its magical!

Kids will need to supply their own sweatshirt.

No sewing experience required. Machines, materials, and instruction provided.
