Learn to sew!
Beginner-friendly event! We supply the machines, materials, and instruction. See description below.
Grab your favorite human and come make the cutest Galentine’s keepsake ever.
In this ultra-beginner Try Quilting class, you’ll learn how to use a sewing machine and dip your toes into quilting while creating an adorable, tactile heart card. We’ll piece soft fabrics together, add a lil’ puff of stuffing so the heart pops right off the card (because your love is POPPING), and stitch it all together like absolute sewing icons.
Make one to trade with your bestie, give to a current crush, a long-time love, or keep as a reminder that you are, in fact, the moment.
Bonus: We’re just steps from Sac City Brews, so Galentine’s bites and beverages are basically part of the vibe. Stitch first, sip after—or vice versa, we don’t judge.
You’ll Learn (no stress, we promise):
Sewing machine basics (bestie-approved for total beginners)
Intro quilting + fabric piecing
How to make a lightly stuffed, pop-out quilted heart card
Who It’s For:
Besties. Softies. Beginners. Anyone who loves cute things and supportive energy.
Studio Vibe:
Cozy. Girly-chaotic (in a good way). Beginner-safe. Lots of “WAIT THAT’S SO CUTE” moments.
Come sew your heart out, bestie. đź’–
