Do NOT be afraid! There’s nothing intimidating and everything is exciting when you are a brand new sewist with a brand new sewing machine (or using one of ours)! The learning curve can feel overwhelming, but we’re here to walk you through each tiny step until you’re comfortable, confident, and ready to sew.
This class is ideal if you’ve never set a finger on a sewing machine before...or maybe just once or twice, or would like to join one of the clubs and want to hit the machine running! We’ll start from the beginning, with machine terminology and anatomy, then you’ll learn how to thread, make a bobbin, stitch, and troubleshoot. From there, you will be confident to conquer the great world of sewing.
