Quilt Lab: Next Stitches - February 2026

Where confidence grows, skills stack, and your quilting starts to feel intentional. Still playful. Still modern. Just a little more “oh wow, I made that.”

You’ll join us for 4 guided sessions where you will begin, continue or complete skill-building quilting projects designed to stretch your technique without overwhelming you. Our in-house quilting instructor keeps things supportive, collaborative, and low-pressure—so you can focus on refining your skills and enjoying the process.

How we do it:

Quilting with momentum. This four-session series builds on the basics with new techniques, thoughtful design choices, and projects that feel like a natural next step. You’ll work at your own pace, learn alongside others, and leave with stronger skills—and something you’re proud to show off.

Choose from a curated set of advancing-beginner quilting projects. After registration, we’ll collect your project preference and send you a custom fabric and supplies list tailored to your selection.

Who It’s For

• Graduates of Quilt Lab: First Stitches or past equivalent quilting experience

• Confident beginner sewists who understand quilting basics and want a new challenge

• Sewists comfortable operating their machine independently

• Guests with prior quilting experience seeking structure, growth, and accountability

• Anyone who loves learning in community while working on their own project

Studio Location & Format

• Held in our bright, welcoming Sewcial® studio
  Tallac Village / Tahoe Park, Sacramento

Please Note:

• This is not a first-time quilting class

• Prior quilting or sewing experience is required

• No professional quilting equipment needed or provided

• Sewing machines are available, or bring your own

• You’ll supply materials for your chosen project (we provide the list)

• Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded—please choose dates you can attend
