Quilting has made a comeback with TikTok and Instagram trending reels, upcycled flips, and really cool accessories - not just blankets. Though it can be.
If you've ever been quilt-curious, wanted to hone in your inner Grandma.... or quite literally, channel her..... this is your time! There is something quite inherent about quilting.
February's project is the 9 Patch Pillow. You might think these are squares, but they are actually not. Wait, what!? We'll show you the magic and how to get those seams lined up so that Versace herself would say..... beautiful, dahling!
Some of our quilting students have started doing fabric murals, flipped blanket into jackets, make toiletry bags, tapestries, and entering their pieces into the county fair. They literally just started quilting 4 weeks ago.
You will be in the best hands with Sewcial's resident quilting expert - literally and figuratively. Randi is an ER nurse and and good with a needle. Sewing things is kinda her jam!
