Laney Wilson meets 70s revival meets a little grunge thrift-flip energy. The kind of pants that make strangers ask, “Wait… where did you get those?” And you get to say, casually, “Oh, I made them.”
This is the quilted, patchwork, wide-leg moment TikTok can’t stop buzzing about — and yes, people are literally flipping these for serious cash. We’re talking thrifted denim + curated fabric panels + beginner-friendly construction = wearable art. Bankable art. Or just “I survived my 20s and I’m dressing like it” art.
In this workshop, you’ll:
• Learn how to panel and insert patchwork into denim
• Create dramatic wide-leg or bell-bottom silhouettes
• Combine quilting vibes with wearable street style
• Leave with statement pants that feel designer, not crafty
No couture experience required. If you’ve taken Sewcial's "Try Sewing" or have recent light sewing experience, you’re golden. We guide you step-by-step (and hype you up aggressively).

Whether you’re here to thrift + flip or just to finally wear the cool pants, this class is your moment.
Sewcial will provide machines and guidance (or bring your working machine that you can confidently use). You bring the vibe (and a pair of jeans to upcycle). If you have dabbled in a bit of quilting, or you want to bring in something quilted to upcycle...yas!!! That's what this is all about (you will need 2 yards of fabric or quilted fabric). We will also have some pre-quilted options available for purchase in the Handcrafted Marketplace upon your arrival.
