What if we told you that you could make a gorgeous piece of artwork...using nothing but fabric?
Welcome to Kinusaiga (pronounced kee-noo-sigh-gah.... half the battle is in the name. The rest is just fun!
Instead of painting with paint, you'll "paint" with colorful fabrics by gently tucking them into a pre-designed pattern. It's oddly satisfying, and weirdly relaxing.
No sewing.
No artistic talent required.
No stressing over straight lines.
Just colorful fabric, a little creativity, and that happy feeling when everything starts coming together.
By the end of class you'll have a vibrant fabric masterpiece that's ready to display—and you'll probably be planning where the next one will go.
• Learn the basics of the Japanese art of Kinusaiga (don't worry—we'll help with the pronunciation).
• Choose from a mountain of beautiful fabrics.
• Mix, match, swap, and play until your design feels perfectly you.
• Leave with a finished work of art that looks far more complicated than it actually was.
We will have a variety of design templates to choose from or make your own!
