Stitch Lab Kids: Learn How to Use a Sewing Machine - September

The popular Stitch Lab is now for kiddos.

Have a new sewing machine, a handed down machine, or curious about sewing and want to try one of our machines that we use in all classes, or about to start the Sewcial Sewing Club?

Do NOT be afraid! There’s nothing intimidating and everything is exciting when you are a brand new sewist with a brand new sewing machine! The learning curve can feel overwhelming, but we’re here to walk you through each tiny step until you’re comfortable, confident, and ready to sew. 

This class is ideal if you’ve never set a finger on a sewing machine before...or maybe just once or twice. We’ll start from the beginning, with machine terminology and anatomy, then you’ll learn how to thread, make a bobbin, stitch, and troubleshoot. From there,you will be ready to conquer the great world of sewing!
